Basic Characteristics of an Outer Rotor Consequent-pole Bearingless Drive
An outer rotor consequent-pole bearingless drive is proposed with two-axis active position regulation having one unit of a bearingless motor. The other axis positions are supported by passive magnetic bearings. In this paper, basic characteristics are presented.
