On the Direct Use of Electromagnetic Field Information for Rotor Position Control
This article describes a simple principle for obtaining information about the radial rotor position and later on shows how this information can be used to stabilize the rotor deflection in a magnetically levitated system. It is important to notice that the considered demonstration system was designed in a way the discussed effects are clearly noticeable. It is not meant to be a design proposal for an actual motor.
